He founded AMG in 1984 in Greensboro, North Carolina, the city where he was born and raised. His love for his community is strong and it leads him to give back whenever he can. Paul Mengert, AMG CEO, has also taught courses as a member of the national senior faculty for the Community Associations Institute for years. One reason Paul Mengert founded AMG in his hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina in 1984 was based on his fervent belief that giving back to a community is very important, whether it is done personally or through business activity. As CEO, Paul Mengert of AMG has become a highly regarded leader in the homeowners’ association management industry, not just in the Carolinas and well beyond.

You see, there is a lot more to Paul Mengert, AMG CEO, than being an executive with a successful firm; he also possesses an unwavering commitment to education and training. His education started at the University of North Carolina, where he majored in Political Science and Communications. Paul followed that up by gaining a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) certification in 1990. Then, in 2005, he graduated from Harvard Business School.
